Does working in a hospital or laboratory inspire you? Join this accredited program and learn the fundamentals for various clinical laboratory testing procedures in our network of state-of-the-art laboratories.
As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will perform laboratory procedures such as preparing specimens for testing, preparing culture media and stock solutions, and recognizing problems and errors in lab procedures. You will be responsible for drawing blood, as well as logging patient samples and preparing them for testing. All while using automated equipment and computerized instruments capable of performing several tests simultaneously, as well as microscopes, cell counters, and other sophisticated laboratory equipment.
Your education will involve a blend of online, classroom and clinical/hands-on training, all of which will make you very competent.
Our curriculum is designed to provide students with the necessary competencies and insights crucial for success across a diverse roles in belical laboratory science. The course encapsulates a comprehensive range of subjects, including anatomy and physiology, clinical chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, laboratory procedures and quality management, laboratory result correlation, first aid/cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and business management and career skills.

SSCE/UTME
Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.
National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) is accepted and stands on its own with credits in at five (5) subjects i.e Physics,Chemistry, Biology, English Language, and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
The College shall conduct written examinations and oral interviews for applicants as the basis for admission.
